Hattiesburg NearVision CK®

(Pre-Operative Instructions)

- You will be given a prescription for Xanax
* Take one tablet the night before your procedure
* Bring the rest with you the day of your procedure
* Bring your ice packs with you

- You will have to have a driver
* Someone must be here the entire time you are here

- Plan on being at Southern Eye Center for up to 2 hours
* Although the procedure takes up to 5 minutes you may have to complete paperwork or testing

- Arrange for someone to stay with you the entire time and drive you home.

- You may eat a light meal up to two hours before procedure

- If you are a female please do not wear any eye makeup

- You must discontinue all supplemental vitamins for 3 months after your procedure
