Flarex - Use 1 drop in operated eye
- 4 times a day x 1 week
- 3 times a day x 1 week
- 2 times a day x 1 week
- 1 time a day x 1 week, then discontinue
Antibiotic - Use 1 drop in operated eye
- 4 times a day x 1 week, then discontinue
Refresh Plus Tears - Use 1 drop in operated eye
- every hour while you are awake for one week
- then as needed, but at least 4 times a day x 1 month
- use only Refresh Plus Tears
- this is a very important part of the healing process
Eye Protection
Eye makeup can be worn on the operative eye after ten days, and be sure
not to get any other makeup in the eye for ten days.
Wait 10 days before swimming or exposing the operative eye to water.
Wear your shield while sleeping for 3 nights, and keep your hands out
of and away from your eyes.
Wear your protective eyewear for at least three months when participating
in contact sports.
Vision
As your eye is healing, your vision may vary from time to time. Some fluctuation
of vision is normal. Your eye may appear red or bloodshot; this is also
normal and will go away in about two weeks.
