(Post-op Instruction)
This page contains the instructions needed to care for your eye after

ALWAYS WASH YOUR HANDS BEFORE USING THE KIT.
Instructions:
1. Sterile Saline and Sterile Sponges: each morning
use one sponge; moisten with sterile saline and clean operative eye.
2. Eye Drops: You will have 1 bottle of eye drops in
your post-op kit and 2 prescriptions.
a. Econopred Plus: (PINK TOP) Steroid and anti-inflammatory
drop.
i. This drop is to be used every hour on the hour the first day.
ii. On the second day begin using 4 times a day until empty.
b. 1st Rx: (TAN TOP) Vigamox-Antibiotic drop.
i. This drop is to be used every hour on the hour the first day.
ii. On the second day begin using 4 times a day until empty.
iii. Then fill the Rx included in your kit.
c. 2nd Rx: (RED TOP) Dilating drop.
i. This drop is to be used 4 times a day for 14 days beginning the day
of the procedure.
3. Artificial Tears: Use as needed for comfort to keep
eye moist.
IMMEDIATELY REPORT ANY OF THESE SYMPTOMS:
1. Pain in or around the eye not relieved by Advil or Ibuprofen.
2. A sudden or progressive worsening of your vision.
3. Increased discomfort, redness or swelling of your eyelids.
4. Irregular shape of pupil (it should be perfectly rounded).
IMPORTANT PROTECT YOUR EYES FROM INJURY!!
WEAR YOUR SUN GLASSES AT ALL TIMES WHILE AWAKE
